HP introduced its first two 3D printers

HP introduced its first two 3D printers, which make a design object.

Printers are called, but do not print paper, but make computer generated designs into physical objects. These machines have more than 20 years in the market, but its use is limited, primarily in the fields of architecture and industrial design.

Hewlett Packard (HP) now hopes to “democratize its use” with their first two models of 3D printers: HP Designjet 3D color printing on HP Designjet ivory color and 3D, which makes up to eight different colors, but not simultaneously . Easy to use, according to HP, they are supplied to the market of computer-aided mechanical design (MCAD) using manufacturers, product designers, engineers, technical schools and universities.

3D printers, which printed in ABS plastic, they cost 12,500 and 16,200 euros (excluding VAT) respectively. Both were accompanied by another device, which resembles a domestic fryer, responsible for cleaning and polishing the impression created of the support material, plastic is also necessary for processing. The cleaning system costs 1,720 euros (excluding VAT) and requires an entry and exit of water close to work.
